Academic Freeze, be implemented
Now we are facing this Covid-19 pandemic and we are limiting the spread of the pandemic ,there are major side effect of this Covid-19. One of this is education, Covid-19 has caused a lot in the education mainly to the student, they been force out when the pandemic started.
Covid-19 have caused a big problem to the field of education, mainly to the student but also to their parents, because of this pandemic they lost their job and their job means a lot to them because this is where they can get money to use it for buying their basic needs for everyday, so they will able to live. Now, they officially started online classes and this online class have many negative effects to our health and relationship to our family. One of the negative effects on our health is are eyes, there a chance we can get an eye problem due to continuous usage of gadgets and also on online classes, other teachers does not teach the lesson, they just give your module and let you answer it, even if you don’t know the lesson clearly.
Some students are struggling finding and learning how the lesson is all about. For my response, Is DEPED blind that doesn't even notice us struggling on online classes mainly to the poor people. Teachers also struggles in checking many worksheets and trying to figure out how to use a gadgets because they are not used to the new normal in the field of education. I'm very sad to the parents who are doing anything just to buy their children some gadgets that are used in studying.
The online classes has many challenges like when your internet is to slow, you cant catch up with your teacher and classmate mainly to those who are far away or near mountains. In my opinion, DEPED should implement the academic freeze for students, parents and teachers health.
What I think about the quality of education during this covid-19 is pretty bad , it has bad effects to our health and relationship. Some students are no yet ready for this new normal in the field of education. So we should hope that DEPED will implement the academic freeze so we can rest properly during this Covid-19.

ReplyDeleteI agree. This new way of learning have more disadvantages than the benefits it gives. This new normal have been a big burden and makes both the students and educators suffer. We want quality education and not this so called new normal. Great job!
