Take Part or Take Risk

           

               Everyday earthquake occur several hundreds a day in our world, and in the Philippines we've experienced a lot of earthquakes many had died, injured, missing, and lost their homes due to the effects of the earthquake and we still tend to stand up and rise again, that proofs our resiliency.

 

          The strongest earthquake recorded in the Philippines occurred in Moro Gulf Mindanao, in  1976,with a 7.9 magnitude and almost 3,000 casualties, and in that year, Filipinos hadn't prepared for that disaster that's why many Filipinos died. But now due to the deadly effect of an earthquake, NDRRMC created the national simultaneous earthquake drill to continuously instill to the public earthquake preparedness amid the pandemic. This earthquake drill is very important in taking part of your preparedness plan because they teach students, staff and parents on how to respond to the complications of an actual earthquake. In my opinion it is important in joining an earthquake drill because as a student they teach you so you will be always prepared from disasters mainly to earthquake and to prevent from life-threatening events like death.

 

               We should take part every time on an earthquake drills. Thanks to NDRRMC in teaching us to be always prepare in handling an earthquake, because you create your own fate, by choosing to take part on earthquake drills or not, its your choice.
