Philippines Independence Day is an annual national holiday in the Philippines observed on June 12, commemorating the declaration of Philippine independence from Spain in 1898, the most significant event in our country's history.

Due to our hero’s bravery and work they gave the independence to Filipinos, Aguinaldo is the reason why we have an independent country because he made arrangements with U.S. authorities to return to the Philippines and assist the United States in the war against Spain. He landed on May 19, rallied his revolutionaries, and began liberating towns south of Manila. On June 12, he proclaimed Philippine independence and established a provincial government, of which he subsequently became head. This Philippine independence day will never be forgotten on which it is the most significant event that happened in our country’s history. Filipinos can live and strive independently, so that why they gave us our independence, we must give them importance and appreciate their work because they did this just for us and the future generations.

We must let everyone see that we can live independently, grow independently, and strive independently. We Filipinos our resilient, no one can beat us and we must be proud that we are Filipino.
